Non-Degree Seeking Students

Minnesota State University is proud to offer you the opportunity to take a class or two that help you along your career path or provide you with training to enhance your existing skill set.

Undergraduate Classes

• Recent (within past 3 years) High School graduates must complete a formal admissions application.
• High School graduates prior to 2005 can choose to complete a formal admissions application or complete a Permission to Register application.

  Please note: Permission to Register is a great way to test drive college courses. This application allows you to take up to 16 credits of off-campus or online courses without going through the formal admittance process. Upon completion of those 16 credits, students will need to complete the formal admissions application.

Graduate Classes

• Students wanting to take graduate level courses may apply two ways:
  1. Print, complete and submit the PDF application(145KB) or
  2. Complete and submit the online application.
• Non-Degree seeking students are not required to:
  • Provide transcripts .
  • Pay $40.00 application fee
