MANKATO, Minn. – The Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Music & Entertainment Industries will feature Bunny Just piano festival events Friday, Feb. 16 through Sunday, Feb. 18 in Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts, 320 Maywood Avenue.

The 27th annual festival features classical pianist Adam Clark in concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18 in Halling Recital Hall. Other events include Friday afternoon master class sessions with music majors from David Viscoli’s piano classes.

Festival activities are made possible by the Bunny Just Piano Festival Endowment and the Minnesota State Mankato Performance Series.

Pianist Adam Clark is featured in the 27th annual Bunny Just piano festival. Clark has been featured as a soloist, chamber musician and concerto soloist throughout the United States, as well as Belgium, Italy, Sweden, Australia, and South Korea. Clark is a piano faculty member for Middle Tennessee State University, in Middle, Tennessee. His formal training began as a student of Charles Asche. He holds a doctoral degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where he studied under Nancy Garrett and Eugene and Elisabeth Pridonoff, respectfully. He has performed with orchestras that include the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, Holland Symphony Orchestra, and San Luis Obispo Symphony. He has been featured on the Grand Rapids Art Museum recital series and the Chamber Music Festival of Saugatuck.

General admission for the concert is $9. Concert admission for K-12 students and children is $7. Minnesota State Mankato students will be admitted free with a valid MavCARD.
