March 19: Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison to Speak at Minnesota State Mankato

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison will discuss the intersection of business and law in Minnesota at Minnesota State University, Mankato on Tuesday, March 19 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the University’s Ostrander Auditorium (located in Centennial Student Union).

The event is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available in University Lot 4 (pay lot; located outside Centennial Student Union). For more information or to register: cob.mnsu.edu/ellison. Registration is encouraged for purposes of monitoring expected attendance and auditorium capacity.

Ellison will deliver a keynote presentation from 10:40-11 a.m. on topics that include antitrust (with a focus on agriculture) and the importance of and future of environmental, social and governance investing.

At 11 a.m., following his keynote, Ellison will visit with Minnesota State Mankato faculty members Wade Davis, an associate professor of business law, and Anaam Hashmi, a professor of international business, in a fireside chat-style conversation.

The event will conclude with an audience question and answer session with Ellison from 11:20-11:30 a.m.

Minnesota State Mankato’s College of Business dean, Seung Bach, will be the emcee for the event.
