MANKATO, Minn. – The Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Performing Arts will feature Chicago Farmer & The Fieldnotes in concert Thursday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts, 320 Maywood Avenue.

Chicago Farmer features small town Midwesterner Cody Diekhoff. Inspired by Hank Wiliams, John Prine and Woody Guthrie, Diekhoff is a modern folk artist who values hard work. Diekhoff writes music for “the kind of people that come to my shows,” and wants to connect to anyone no matter where they are from.

General admission for the concert is $10. Minnesota State Mankato students will be admitted free with a valid MavCARD.
