MANKATO, Minn. – John “Papa” Gros will perform on Tuesday, March 26 at 7:30 p.m. in Minnesota State University, Mankato's Elias J. Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts, 320 Maywood Ave.

Gros, a New Orleans native, is a keyboardist, artist, singer and songwriter. He draws from his roots to deliver a rich combination of funk, rhythm, blues, rock and jazz in his music. Gros has performed in festivals and venues across the U.S. and Europe and cemented his legacy as part of the direct lineage of New Orleans music.

Gros has a joyous energy and exhibits a great stage presence that has been drawing audiences in for years.
