Mankato, Minn. —  Maverick men's hockey fans will have an opportunity to celebrate the 2020-21 season with the Minnesota State men's hockey team Monday evening at Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center.

The event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the Grand Hall at the Event Center.

The event will feature comments from University staff and head coach Mike Hastings, and fans will get an opportunity to submit questions for a Q&A session with the Mavericks.

A limited number of tickets available and all fans must register at msumavericks.com/welcomehome.

The event will be live streamed at msumavericks.com/welcomehome for those who are unable to make the event. Because of COVID protocols, there will be no interaction with the players or post-event autograph session.

Minnesota State, which finished its historic season with a 22-5-1 record, captured this year's Western Collegiate Hockey Association regular-season championship and earned wins over Quinnipiac and Minnesota as NCAA Western Regional champs.  The Mavericks made the school's first-ever Frozen Four appearance and Hastings was named the recipient of the Spencer Penrose Award as the nation's top men's hockey coach.
