Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Theatre and Dance News Release

MANKATO – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Department of Theatre & Dance continues its 55th season of Highland Summer Theatre with “Nunsense” from June 8-11. The production is made possible by a generous sponsorship from Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic and Farrish Johnson Law Office.

This hilarious musical farce tells the story of the Little sisters of Hoboken, who stage a fundraiser to earn money to bury their sisters who died of botulism in an unfortunate convent cooking accident. Updated with new jokes, additional lyrics, two new arrangements and a brand new song, this madcap musical is sure to delight.

“Nunsense” runs June 8-11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ted Paul Theatre at the Earley Center for Performing Arts at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Tickets are $24 regular and $21 for seniors ages 65 and older, children under 16 and groups of 15 or more.

“Nunsense” is the closing production for Highland Summer Theatre at the Department of Theatre and Dance.

The full season resumes in September.

The Box Office is open 4-6 p.m. weekdays in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center, or buy single tickets online at MSUTheatre.com. Call the Box Office at 507-389-6661.
