Are You Able To Be A Volunteer Driver?

If you are willing to be a volunteer driver, please go to this page and fill out the Minnesota State University, Mankato driving eligibility form. It is a University and State of Minnesota requirement that you fill this out.  Click Here for Online Vehicle Form

You will also need to complete a Campus Kitchens Project driver waiver. Please bring a copy of your US driver's license and a proof of auto insurance. Drivers may be reimbursed for mileage if they use their own vehicle. Speak with the Assistant Director of Community Engagement for more information.

As a volunteer driver, you will be:

  • Recovering food from area restaraunts and cafes
  • Driving the meals (in bags) and other volunteers to Campus Kitchen clients
  • Traveling between 5 - 10 miles per shift
  • Helping Campus Kitchen and the clientele we support
