Drivers for a ShiftPage address: http://www.mnsu.edu/activities/kitchen/driving.html
Are You Willing and Able To Be A Volunteer Driver?
If you are willing to be a volunteer driver, please go to this page and fill out the Minnesota State University, Mankato driving eligibility form. It is a university and state requirement that you fill this out. Click Here for Online Vehicle Form
As a volunteer driver, you will be:
- Driving the meals (in bags) and other volunteers to the Campus Kitchen clients
- Traveling between 5-10 miles per shift
- Helping Campus Kitchen out SO MUCH because we deliver over 75 meals per week!
- Generally, delivery takes about 60-90 minutes, and takes place weekly on Tuesday mornings.
Once approved as a driver, you will be added to an OrgSync group within Community Engagement Office and you can sign up for the shifts you would like to cover.
In addition to being a University approved driver, you will also need to show proof of car insurance and your drivers license, and sign a volunteer agreement with the Campus Kitchen Project.
