Their efforts in the kitchen, on delivery, and everywhere in between make The Campus Kitchen at Minnesota State University, what it is. Students who work with Campus Kitchen are not just volunteers; they are seen as an integral part of the organization.
To become a Campus Kitchen volunteer, you must attend a volunteer training.
Trainings are currently being held in CSU 173:
Monday 12-1 with Derek Wagner
Monday 4-5 with Aaron Rezac
Tuesday 11-12 with Brooke Minnehan
Tuesday 3-4 with Libby Gerads
Wednesday 11:30-12:30 with Rebecca Vogt
Wednesday 1-2 with Curt Wersal
Thursday 9-10 with Amber Schramm
Thursday 3-4 with Liza Hall
Friday 10-11 with Nick Metzger
Friday 12-1 with Brady Sabatino
There are no trainings the last 3 weeks of the semester.
If you would like us to train your entire organization, we can set up a time where to attend your organization's meeting or the entire group could come to a training session. If you would like to set up a time to train your organization please email us at samantha.eckerson@mnsu.edu
You would then be able to volunteer in the kitchen or delivering as often as you'd like. We do not have a sign up sheet - just come when you can!!! Most students love it so much that they pick the shift per week that they come to and attend that shift every week. However, jsut by coming once it will be an eye opening experience and you will be making a difference!!
The cooking and delivering schedule is on the Operations Schedule page.
Thank you for your interest in Campus Kitchen. Please come to Community Engagement Office/Student Activities CSU 173 to sign up for your training time. There is a sign up sheet on the front desk. If one of these times doesn't work for you, please email me and we can try to work something out! If you would like to receive more information, please contact:
