Rerecognition/Update

Becoming a Recognized Student Organization is fairly easy. Initial recognition can happen any time during the school year. Once the RSO is recognized, it must be re-recognized each year.

Web registration is now active and is the way all student organizations become initially recognized, re-recognized, and make changes to their RSO information. 

To re-recognize your group or to make changes to your general group information (officers, meeting times, advisor, etc.)

1.  Click on "RSO Directory" and then select your RSO.  Your RSO summary will appear along with a button titled "Update this group".  Click on that button.

2.  Update your group information, then click "Send to Advisor for changes" when finished.

3.  Your advisor will automatically receive an email with a link to this form.  Your advisor needs to click on this link and review the form.  Then can either chose to return it to you with changes, or "Send to Senate". 

4.  Senate reviews and recognized RSO's weekly at their 4 PM Wednesday meetings.  Once Senate recognizes your group, your group will move on the directory page from "In progress / unrecognized" to "Currently recognized groups".
