Becoming a Recognized Student Organization is fairly easy. Initial recognition can happen any time during the school year. Once the RSO is recognized, it must be re-recognized each year.
New for September of 2008 - WEB REGISTRATION! Please read the information below before attempting to register your RSO.
Web registration is now active and will the way all student organizations become initially recognized, re-recognized, and make changes to their RSO information.
For this year all groups must enter information as if they are being initially recognized as a NEW GROUP. This means that all groups must attach a constitution as an electronic document while completing web registration. If your group does not have access to your constitution electronically, call Student Activities (389-6076) to request a copy, or email jacqueline.dittrich@mnsu.edu and a copy will be placed in your RSO mailbox.
Once you have an electronic version of your constitution, a faculty or staff member as an advisor, and at least five MSU students, you are ready to register your group.
