To be eligible for recognition, you must have:

  1. An organization name
  2. A minimum of 5 members
  3. An Advisor- must be faculty or staff member
  4. [PDF] [PDF] constitution (52 KiB) (52 KiB) for your organization

Steps for 2015-2016 Recognition:

1. Student representative must submit all required materials on OrgSync between August 17 and September 18.
2. President must join RSO portal on OrgSync by September 18.
3. President complete video trainings by September 18.
4. President attend RSO Inauguration Dinner on Sunday, September 20 at 4 p.m.


Steps for submitting on OrgSync:

Step 1: Join your organizations portal in MavSync.

The former President of your organization or any current administrator of your portal will need to accept your join request.

Step 2: Be sure you have administrative privileges for your portal.

A current administrator of your organizations portal will need to grant you admin privileges if you don't have them already. Directions for granting admin privileges can be found here.

Step 3: Submit to become a Recognized Student Organization (RSO).
