*MSU teaches the two semester introductory computer science sequence, COMS 111 & 112, using the JAVA language. Computer Science majors transferring from Fond du Lac, who have not had a JAVA programming course, will need to take a JAVA short course their first term at MSU. If CSCI 2011 at Fond du Lac is taught using JAVA, this requirement will have been met. Students transferring to MSU should provide the Computer Science Faculty a syllabus for review upon arrival at MSU. |
