Why I picked Minnesota State Mankato: I loved the campus and the area. It's close enough yet far enough from home. It's not too big or too small.
Must-haves for the residence hall: A fan, basket for toiletries, robe and shower flip-flops.
Get the most out of living on campus by: Participating in activities and hanging out in the common areas. This creates opportunities to meet new people. Studying in your hall lounge will allow you to get to know people in your hall a bit better.
Best place to study: Library!
Best place to eat on campus: Chick-fil-A.
Favorite campus event so far: Homecoming Week. It's a week full of fun, free events, and a great way to get involved on campus early in the fall.
Favorite place on campus: The Student Activities area. All of the student organizations are located here and there are always people around and things going on.
Favorite place off campus: River Hills Mall, Caribou Coffee, Buffalo Wild Wings and Chipotle.
Best thing about being a student at Minnesota State Mankato: Being involved and Greek!
How I spend my weekends: Spending time with friends. Going to movies, sporting events and bowling.
Best advice for getting the most out of college: Get involved, attend class, study, be safe and have fun!
