Transfer Presidential Scholarships of $10,000 will be awarded to selected transfer students based on academic achievement.

Office of Undergraduate AdmissionsThe In-State Tuition Scholarships are intended for out-of-state residents (residents of MN, ND, SD, and WI are not eligible)** who are transferring to Minnesota State University, Mankato.
The In-State Tuition Scholarship will be automatically awarded to transfer students who meet the following academic requirements:
Scholarship recipients will be granted in-state tuition status and may renew the award for up to 2 years OR 4 semesters OR 128 semester credits (including any credits transferred into MSU), whichever comes first by maintaining ALL of the following MSU academic progress standards:
If one or both of a student’s parents, step-parents or adopted parents graduated from MSU the student is eligible to pay in-state tuition rates during their entire time at MSU. Please complete the application below and submit it with required documentation to the Scholarship Coordinator in the Office of Admissions:

**NOTE: All legal residents of North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin may be eligible for reduced tuition through reciprocity agreements with Minnesota. Residents of these states may apply for reciprocity tuition by submitting an approved reciprocity form.

Several of Minnesota State University's academic departments award scholarships to upperclass students. Some MSU departments may also offer these awards to new entering transfer students.
