A bequest is a gift made at death through your will or trust. For many alumni and friends of Minnesota State University, Mankato a bequest is a practical way to provide meaningful financial resources for the University's future. Bequests can be large or small, can be for a specific dollar amount, a percentage or fraction of your estate, or a part of all the residue of your estate after other specific bequests have been paid. If you plan to make a charitable gift by will, be sure to meet with your attorney to discuss and update your will. Also, we hope you'll tell us when you have named the Minnesota State University, Mankato Foundation in your will - we'd like to thank you for your generosity, and welcome you as a new member of the Heritage Society!
