Rand Brugger earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology in 1972 with minors in business, and teaching all from Mankato State College. Rand lettered in Baseball four years and in 2006 his 1971 team was inducted into the Minnesota State University Hall of Fame. Rand’s 38 year career centered on working as a professional manager in Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, Employee Relations, and Human Resources. Rand retired on March 4th, 2011 from Saint Therese Senior Care Center after 11 years as their Director of Human Resources. His career spanned many different industries, large and small, publicly and privately held, and located in numerous states. Rand moved back to Minnesota some 20 years ago to be back home. Rand’s leisure time is devoted to family, a son, Ryan living in Bellingham,WA, a sister, Holly that has retired and is living in Woodbury, MN, and a mother, Maryann living in the metro area and staying at the Saint Therese Care Center in New Hope, MN. Rand enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, alumni activities for over 25 years, and socializing with 3 college friends that live within a mile of each other in Bloomington, MN.
