Andrew Andrusko AICP '12, MA '13
Andrew earned his bachelor’s degrees as a quadruple major from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2012. He went on to earn a Master of Arts in Urban Planning in 2013. He also holds a Master of Transportation and Urban Systems from North Dakota State University focusing on transportation planning.
As a student at Minnesota State, he was actively involved in the Students of the Urban and Regional Studies Institute (SURSI) association and was President of the student group from 2012-2013. He also participated in the Golden Key and Gamma Theta Upsilon Geography Honor Societies.
Since graduating, Andrew has been involved in the government sector. He is currently a Principal Transportation Planner with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) in the Central Office, Office of Freight and Commercial Vehicle Operations. In his role at MnDOT, he works to develop statewide transportation plans and programs that impact the lives and economy of all of Minnesota such as the statewide Minnesota Freight System Plan. He is also a certified professional urban planner and geologist-in-training. Andrew lives with his family in Ramsey, MN and has also served on the City of Ramsey Planning, Parks, and Recreation Commissions.
