Gabe Afolayan earned his undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2007. Immediately upon graduation, Gabe completed a Marketing and Sales internship with Cargill, Incorporated within its Specialty Canola Oils business unit. He is presently employed as a Commodity Merchant within Cargill’s Horizon Milling business unit where he trades wheat byproducts in the North America market. During his time at the University, Gabe was involved with the Minnesota State Student Association where he served as a Senator, Speaker, and President. In his spare time, Gabe enjoys playing basketball, attending sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. He currently resides in Maple Grove, MN.
