Mission
The mission of the Minnesota State Mankato Alumni Association is to engage alumni, friends and students in ways that benefit its members and MSU, Mankato through opportunities that stimulate a lifetime of interest, loyalty and support.
Belief Statements
- We believe that MSU, Mankato with its rich heritage is a quality university of which all can be proud
- We believe that Alumni are involved with MSU, Mankato for different reasons.
- We believe that all Alumni are valued members of the Alumni Association.
- We believe that all Alumni have the potential to support the University in many ways.
- We believe that fostering relationships is the primary focus of the Alumni Association.
- We believe that the Alumni board is a valuable participant in the MSU, Mankato community.
Objectives
- By 2012, we will increase the discretionary financial resources of the Alumni Association by 300%
- We will increase the revenue from existing revenue-generating programs
- We will increase the number of viable funding Sources
- Increase the number of engaged alumni by 10% on an annual basis
- We will enhance and expand opportunities to engage alumni
- By 2010, a majority of departing students will identify themselves as members of the Alumni Association and identify opportunities for engagement
- We will promote existing events and create new opportunities for students to become familiar with the Alumni Association
- We will energize and integrate students into full support and implementation of our mission and objectives
- By 2008, the Alumni Association will have varied meaningful contact at least once a year will all constituents
- We will increase the quality of contacts with all constituents
- We will increase the number of recipients
