A legacy is current Minnesota State Mankato student who has a parent, grandparent or sibling who has attended or is attending MSU. If you are a legacy, you are part of a proud and unique MSU tradition, and we want to celebrate you! But first, you need to let us know that you are a legacy and we'll send you a free gift from the Alumni Association!
If you are a legacy from out-of-state, you are also eligible for the Legacy In-State Tuition Scholarship! If one or both of a student's parents, step-parents or adopted parents graduated from MSU the student is eligible to pay in-state tuition rates during their entire time at MSU.
