Experience the treasures of this great river as you cruise its beautiful blue waters between Vienna and Passau, the picture-perfect area known as the Wachau valley.  Charming villages, ancient medieval castles, and lush vineyards greet you around every bend of this winding river, an area steeped in history and legends. Ports of call include Melk with its splendid Benedictine Abbey, Passau, one of Germany’s oldest and prettiest towns, and the magnificent city of Vienna.  Add to all this the colorful and dynamic city of Munich, Germany, set against the majestic backdrop of the Alps for a truly memorable trip.
