The department has six scholarships available for students. Students are recommended by the faculty for these scholarships which recognize outstanding achievement and potential in studio, art education, scholarship and leadership.
Scholarship and leadership; student must have attended MSU for at least one year; junior or senior preferred.
"Student must be a declared art major in the junior or senior years with a minimum of a 3.25 grade point average in his/her major with an overall grade average of 2.75 minimum who shows talent and creativity as evidenced by application materials [the Budget Committee considers faculty recommendations to be equivalent to application materials]. Student must be a visual (studio) art major."
Recipient should be a declared art major, an undergraduate, and at least a third year student. Recipient should have at least a 3.0 G.P.A. and should demonstrate exceptional potential.
Recipient should have attended Mankato State University for at least one year and maintained a G.P.A. of at least 3.0. Priority will be given to students specializing in art education or painting who excel either academically or creatively.
