The purpose of the JIA is to share the culture and traditions of both historical and current Japan. The JIA has two primary goals: 1) To share culture through various outlets in order to help people better understand what being Japanese means 2) To help the members of the JIA obtain contribution hours through the previously mentioned cultural exchanges, pending they abide by all rules and regulations of Minnesota State University, Mankato.
