New Exp Object Code for Wireless Communications/Cell Phone

Subject:        New Exp Object Code for Wireless Communications/Cell Phone

Recently, we were notified by the office of the chancellor financial reporting staff that a new object code (2025) was created on our accounting system to track expenditures for "Wireless Communication / Cell Phone" charges.  Previously, these charges had been recorded against object code (2090) (Other Communications).  Since a new code was established for these expenses, the university accounting office transferred expenditures from object code 2090 (Other Communications) to object code 2025 (Wireless Communications).  Please make note of this change as you monitor your university accounting reports.  If you need to make a budget planning adjustment because of this change, please process a CAO2 Budget Transaction form to move budget from object code 2090 to 2025.  The CAO2 Budget Transaction form is available via this web link.

The completed CAO2 budget transaction form should be forwarded to Rosemary Kinne in the budget office (WA238) for processing.
