Web Browser Security Tips
FireFox web browser settings (great browser and has tab browsing)

- General tab -
- Location (type in where you want your default web page)
- Privacy tab (in addition to what is checked or unchecked by default) -
- History (0 days),
- Saved Form Information (uncheck),
- Saved Passwords (uncheck remember..),
- Download Manager History (Upon successful download),
- Cache (0kb)
FireFox (2.0.x) Menu Preferences;
- Main tab -
- Location (type in where you want your default web page)
- Privacy tab (in addition to what is checked or unchecked by default) -
- uncheck; Remember visited pages... (0 days),
- uncheck remember what I enter in forms...
- uncheck remember what I've downloaded
- Accecpt cookies from sites; keep until I close Firefox
- Security tab (in addition to what is checked or unchecked by default) -
- uncheck remember passwords for sites
- Advanced tab (in addition to what is checked or unchecked by default) -
- Network tab
- cache; use up to 0MB of space...
Safari settings

Safari Menu; select block pop-up windows
Safari Menu; Preferences; General tab (your homepage), Autofill (uncheck all), Tabs (enable), uncheck Open "Safe" files after downloading
with Safari - also run fromt the Safari menu; Reset Safari and also Empty Cache every so often
Internet Explorer settings (no longer avaiable for download)

From Edit Menu; Preferences: Browser Display tab (set address to what you want)
Advanced Tab: Remember 1 places visited; Cache to 0 MB
Download Options tab: select Immediately remove items after they have been downloaded
