This gym is in honor of Ruth Schellberg, former chairperson of women's physical education at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Schellberg Gym serves as a facility for many Campus Recreation activities as well as Cheer Team and Dance Team practice. This facility was also used by the Women's Volleyball team for practice and for games. Now you can see them play in Bresnan Arena.
