Important Dates - Financial Aid

Fall Semester 2005
(August 29, 2005 – December 16, 2005)

August 29, 2005		First date of employment for students employed through federal or state work-study funds for the 2005-2006 school year.
September 2, 2005		Students with work-study assignments must report to employing department by 5th class day of term.
September 9, 2005		First disbursement of financial aid loans, grants and scholarship awards finalized by August 22, 2005. (Note exceptions: Federal Stafford Loans for first-time, first year borrowers are delayed until 30 days after the term begins, and single-term loans are required to be split in two equal disbursements, with the second half disbursed October 27, 2005.
September 23, 2005		Deadline to submit appeals to reinstate financial aid suspended for failure to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Standards.
September 30, 2005		Deadline to submit FAFSA for Fall term eligibility of MN State Grants.
October 3, 2005		Federal Stafford Loan disbursement for first-time, first year borrowers.
October 27, 2005		Disbursement of second half of single-term loans.
December 2, 2005		Last day to apply for loans for Fall term only
