Fall Semester 2017

(August 21, 2017 - December 8, 2017)

April 3, 2017 Online enrollment begins for all Fall 2017 installment payment plan options through Nelnet/FACTS (non-refundable $24 fee charged upon enrollment)
June 29, 2017 Last day for online enrollment in "zero-down, five monthly installments beginning July 5" payment plan option through Nelnet/FACTS (non-refundable $24 fee charged upon enrollment)
July 26, 2017 Last day for online enrollment in "15% or $300 down, four monthly installments beginning August 5" payment plan option through Nelnet/FACTS (non-refundable $24 fee charged upon enrollment)
July 31, 2017 Early Registration Guarantee Date - students registered through July 24, 2017, must meet minimum payment requirements for tuition and fees by this date to stay enrolled. Students who meet minimum payment requirements for fall semester will be protected from Registration Cancellation for Nonpayment and will not have courses administratively dropped.
August 1, 2017 Early Registration Cancellation For Nonpayment will be processed. Student accounts that do not meet payment requirements will have all courses administratively dropped.
August 7, 2017 Fall Semester in-store textbook/supply purchases from Barnes & Noble Bookstore @ MSU may be charged by eligible students through through August 24, 2017 (confirm eligibility at https://secure2.mnsu.edu/FinancialAid).
August 16, 2017 Fall Semester online textbook orders from Barnes & Noble Bookstore @ MSU may be picked up/charged by eligible students through August 24, 2017 (confirm eligibility at https://secure2.mnsu.edu/FinancialAid).
August 24, 2017 Last date for eligible students to charge Fall semester textbook/supply purchases at Barnes & Noble Bookstore @ MSU
August 24, 2017 Last day for online enrollment in "15% or $300 down, three monthly installments beginning September 5" payment plan option through Nelnet/FACTS (non-refundable $24 fee charged upon enrollment)
August 25, 2017 Last day for official withdrawal with 100% refund/credit of tuition/fee charges
August 25, 2017 Tuition Obligation Date - last day to change fall semester registrations before being held liable for tuition and fees charged
August 25, 2017 Final Registration Guarantee Date - all registered students must meet minimum payment requirements for tuition and fees by this date to stay enrolled. Students who meet minimum payment requirements for fall semester will be protected from Registration Cancellation for Nonpayment and will not have courses administratively dropped.
August 28, 2017 Final Registration Cancellation For Nonpayment will be processed. Student accounts that do not meet minimum payment requirements will have all courses administratively dropped.
September 1, 2017 Last day for official withdrawal with 75% refund/credit of tuition/fee charges
September 11, 2017 Last day for official withdrawal with 50% refund/credit of tuition/fee charges
September 18, 2017 Last day for official withdrawal with 25% refund/credit of tuition/fee charges. No refund/credit of tuition/fee charges for official withdrawal after this date.
September 19, 2017 Last day for online enrollment in "30% down, two monthly installments beginning October 5" payment plan option through Nelnet/FACTS (non-refundable $24 fee charged upon enrollment)
September 19, 2017 Last day for online full payment through Nelnet/FACTS (no fee)
September 25, 2017 Fall Semester Due Date - required to be paid in full or enrolled in fall semester Nelnet/FACTS payment plan. Unpaid balances not covered by Nelnet/FACTS payment plan on October 16, 2017, will be subject to Unpaid Balance hold and $50 late fee.
October 16, 2017 Fall Semester Past Due Date - Accounts with unpaid Fall Semester balances not covered by Nelnet/FACTS payment plan subject to Unpaid Balance hold and $50 late payment fee. 
December 11, 2017 Accounts with Fall Semester past due balances subject to referral for collection to MN Department of Revenue
