Minnesota State University, Mankato has several loan options available. These are all low-interest loans which must be repaid.
An educational loan is an investment in your future; it is also a tremendous financial responsibility. All loans must be paid back, with interest, to the lender. It is always best to borrow only what you need to meet your educational expenses.
Federal Direct Loans are administered by the Federal Government.
This loan is funded by the Federal Government and is meant to assist in meeting the cost of attendance at post-secondary institutions. It is a low-interest, long-term educational loan.
The Federal PLUS Loan Program provides loans to parents of dependent students attending post-secondary schools. All loan funds received under the program must be used to pay for the cost of attending a post-secondary school.
The Federal Graduate PLUS Loan Program provides loans to graduate students attending post-secondary schools. All loan funds received under the program must be used to pay for the cost of attending a post-secondary school.
