Federal Stafford Loan
Federal Stafford Loans are part of the Federal Family Educational Loan Program (FFEL).
Federal Perkins Loan
This loan is funded by the Federal Government and is meant to assist in meeting the cost of attendance at post-secondary institutions. It is a low-interest, long-term educational loan.
Federal PLUS (Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students)
The Federal PLUS Loan Program provides loans to parents of dependent students attending post-secondary schools. All loan funds received under the program must be used to pay for the cost of attending a post-secondary school.
SELF (Student Educational Loan Fund)
The Student Educational Loan Fund (SELF) was established to help students pay for their education beyond high school. The SELF program is administered by the Minnesota Higher Education Services Office.
