-The Minnesota State-Mankato Men's Club Hockey Program includes two competitive teams.  Operating under the governing rules of the ACHA (American Club Hockey Association), and the WCCHA.  The club hockey program provides teams at the ACHA Division 2 and Division 3 level. The Minnesota State University Men's Club Hockey Team has continuously been one of the most powerful and respected teams in the league, winning the WCCHA tournament in '04-05, '16-17, and runners-up in '03-04. Year-to-year interest exceeds to over 40 prospective players.  The club hockey team is player funded, although continues to be one of the least expensive programs in the WCCHA. For anyone interested, please contact the respective contact listed to the right.

-The Division 2 team is coached by former Club Hockey President Jack Diercks, and ran by current business undergraduate student, Junior President Brandon Rogers.  The ACHA Division 2 team typically plays 20-25 games throughout the whole school year, capped off by a conference tournament.  The season stretches from September to March, with tryouts for the upcoming 2018-2019 season scheduled for September 16 & 17.  The Carla Berg Championship (WCCHA Playoffs) will be held in Blaine, MN at the Schwan's Super Rink from February 8-10, 2019.

-New to the club hockey program is the expansion of the ACHA D3 team.  This will be coached by former ACHA D2 player, Luke Meyer.  Luke has also coached in the Mankato Area Hockey Association for the past 3 years. The D3 team will play roughly 10 games and will practice alongside the division 2 team 2-3 times a week.  In an interview discussing the new hiring of Luke Meyer, President Brandon Rogers had this to say: "He brings a lot of passion and enthusiasm to the table and I think he's a good fit for the job.  He played for us for a year and he's seen what the Mavericks are capable of doing.  This is a hockey school, and we feel that we can grow the sport even more, with having two teams.  This will be sort of an experiment, but if anyone can make this team successful, it's him (Meyer)"-Brandon Rogers, Club Hockey President.
