How do I sign-up?
Log into your mavjobs account
Upload your resume, if you haven't already done so (***If you do not have time to complete and upload your resume before sign-up, either call the recruiting desk at 507-389-6063 to sign-up OR upload a blank document. Bring a resume along to the interview if you are able.)
Under “Jobs, Internships, On-Campus Interviews,” select “mavjobs.com Jobs.”
In “Show Me” select “All Interviews” and in “Keywords” enter “practice.”
When the list of practice interviews comes up, please read the details! Some interviews are major specific, and others are open to any major.
Click to choose the Interview that is right for you and sign up.
BE AWARE OF WHEN SCHEDULES CLOSE – THERE ARE DEADLINES. FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU WANT TO INTERVIEW ON TUESDAY, THE SCHEDULE CLOSES SUNDAY NIGHT AT 12AM! All deadlines are listed on mavjobs.
Early sign up is strongly encouraged, and you may sign up for any interview slot that fits your schedule.
If there are no available slots that work for you, please contact the CDC at 507-389-6063 to find out if any additional slots will be added.
Need assistance polishing your resume?
The Career Development Center is available to help. Bring a HARD COPY of your resume and stop in during scheduled CDC Quick Stop hours inside the Career Development Center, WA 209. A CDC staff member can help you put the finishing touches on your resume.
