The Department and Advising

Admission requirements –
1. All students working toward a 5-12 or K-12 teaching degree must be admitted to professional education prior to enrollment in Level 2 coursework.

• Degree Requirements & Policies
  Application to professional education should be made when the following requirements have been met:
  1.     a minimum of 32 earned semester credit hours
  2.     a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA
  3.     admission or provisional admission to a teaching field
  4.     evidence of completion of or registration for the Minnesota Teacher Licensure Basic Skills Exam (MTLE).
