Many students would like to work on-campus, however there are a limited number of positions. Start looking for campus jobs early and keep applying for positions throughout the year. If you are interested in working within a particular office or area on campus you can also visit them directly to find out about opportunities. Since these positions are competitive, it is important to try to give a professional impression on your application and when you visit on-campus employers. Think about what skills and experience that you have that are relevant to the position and communicate them.
Many on-campus employers choose to have students complete what is commonly called the "gray application" (16KB PDF). This is a standard job application form that can be obtained in the CDC. Some employers choose to have the forms returned to the CDC, as opposed to bringing the form directly to the on-campus employer. These applications may be turned in at the CDC front desk.
