- Individual career planning and job search strategy assistance by appointment. Note: The Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator are available for a fee with an appointment.
- No cost access to the FOCUS online career assessment program.
- Online job and internship listings and resume referral through mavjobs.com
- Workshops each semester on resume writing, interview skills, job search strategies, and other job search topics.
- An up-to-date Career Resource Library, including computers, to be utilized for career exploration, job search activities and accessing online resources.
- An extensive website with numerous career exploration and job search links organized by location and academic major.
- Information and assistance with planning for graduate or professional school.
- A comprehensive annual “Job Search Handbook” & “Handbook for Students Choosing or Changing Their Major”
- National job search publications: Job Choices Series; Educator Job Search Handbook; etc. These publications are available at no cost to students & alumni in the CDC Resource Library.
- Access to on-campus interviews, various special career events and job fairs on and off-campus.
- “Practice Interview Days” held each semester and hosted by volunteer employers.

- No cost access to job listings through mavjobs.com. Includes resume upload and online application capability.
- Up-to-date Career Resource Library.
- An extensive website with numerous career exploration and job search links organized by location and academic major.
- Access to career events, on-campus recruiting, and job fairs.
- Availability of "MSU Job Search Handbook" online.
- Career assistance is available at no cost at the various Minnesota Workforce Centers around the state, including the Mankato Workforce Center.
