The Minnesota State University football team has enjoyed one of its most successful seasons ever, charging out to an undefeated record of 11-0. The players invested heavily in off-season training throughout the spring and summer, which brought the team into preseason camp in top physical condition. And while that has certainly paid dividends over the course of a grueling season against some great competition, the Mavericks insist their "X factor" may come in their mental approach to the game.
The Center worked with the West Women’s cross country team this season helping them unleash their inner potential.
During the 2nd annual Mankato Marathon the Sport Psych Team provided runners with mental strategies to reach their full potential. While most people were physically fit from training they might have realized the importance of being metal prepared for the big race. That's how the Mankato Marathon Sport Psych Team is helped out this year.
