The Department Chairs Community of Practice began in the 2005-2006 academic year and is now in its third year. Open to all department chairs at MSU, this CoP gives chairs a chance to meet and discuss topics that are particularly interesting to those in the chairperson role. In the past, they have also developed a Chairs session with the Provost and have helped create the new chairs orientation in the fall.
