Greetings from CETL,
As we come to the close of the fall semester we are happy to report that just over 300 faculty members are involved in CETL programs ranging from the Teaching Certificate Program to the new Department Chairs Learning Community. We have had a great semester dealing with teaching and learning issues which culminated in the Teaching with Technology Conference co-sponsored by CETL and IT. Next semester our many programs will continue with the addition of a Classroom Assessment Techniques online learning community. We currently have 15 faculty registered but there is still some room for others. The deadline to apply is December 13th.
Next semester we will hold the fourth annual "Talking About Teaching and Learning Conference" on February 17th. Mark your Calendars. We are asking faculty to send us their "best practices" that can be featured in breakout sessions during the day.
