Upon successful completion of the program requirements, students who earned a cumulative "B" average receive a Minnesota State Mankato Certificate in Financial Planning and CFP Board will be notified of your completion of the program. If a "B" average is not earned after all courses, Students who do not earn a cumulative "B" average will need to provide proof of enrollment in a review course is required for students to be eligible to to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination.
The 10-hour exam is divided into two 2-hour sessions (Friday afternoon) and two 3-hour sessions (Saturday). The Exam is administered three times a year on the third Friday and Saturday in March, July and November.
