On behalf of the Combined Charities Committee members, thank you to those who attended the October 1, 2009 kickoff event. In addition to this event, each employee of Minnesota State Mankato should have received the 2009 Minnesota State Employee’s Combined Charities Campaign booklet, which provides information related to the campaign, charities, and donation process. If by chance you did not receive the booklet or inadvertently misplaced it and wish to receive one, please contact Karen Foreman at extension 5973.
Please note that after the October 31, 2009 deadline, we will have another drawing of similar prizes that you see listed for employees who donate either via payroll deduction or by sending a check to Diane Roggow or David Cowan. Checks should be made out to the charity of your choice (please see your booklet for the listing of charities). If you donate, your name will be included in the drawing for additional prizes. Winners will be announced, as below, after October 31, 2009. Another great reason why payroll deduction is useful, your paystub becomes your tax document for your charitable deductions rather than trying to find copies of the checks you wrote throughout the year.
