MEMBERSHIP

One can become an emeritus member of NCA either by maintaining regular or sustaining membership continuously for 25 years or by maintaining regular or sustaining membership discontinuously for 30 years and by subsequently notifying the NCA executive director of a wish to become an emeritus member. This membership class exempts the member from all dues and from the convention registration fees. The emeritus member continues to receive one NCA journal.  When the emeritus member registers for a convention, NCA sends a nametag ribbon labeled “emeritus.”

In order to become a member of the Emeritus/Retired Section of NCA, a person must indicate this choice on their membership form by checking the E/R section. A person does not have to be an Emeriti-Retired person to be a member of the section. Anyone who is a member of NCA can be a member of the section.
