The faculty of the Department of Speech Communication met on Monday,
September 27, 2004, at 12 Noon in Morris Hall 240B.
Dan welcomed Dean
Delgado and Dean Earley to the
Speech Communication faculty meeting.
Faculty members introduced themselves, shared their principle areas in
which they teach and what activities they are involved in, the success of the
Speech Communication graduate students and summary of graduate courses offered
in the department.
The faculty invited Dean
Delgado to present his perspective of the College of Graduate Studies and
how it relates to the Department of Speech Communication.
Dean Earley
announced to Dean Delgado that the
Department of Speech Communication extends to him the rank of Professor of
Speech Communication. Dean Delgado was very pleased to accept this honor.
The meeting adjourned at 1:20 p.m.
