Assistantship positions are available each year across campus. We encourage you to seek an assistantship that will align with your professional goals. Assistantship positions on campus are posted at the following link - check them out to see if any are applicable to your personal goals and interests.
The Department offers graduate assistantships. Individuals awarded an assistantship will teach up to two sections of the basic hybrid communication course and/or assist with forensic coaching duties in the department. An assistantship award includes a tuition waiver of up to 9 credits per semester. These positions are competitive and students are encouraged to apply early (by February) to be considered for the coming year.
The Department also awards one specific assistantship award called the Andreas Graduate Assistantship. This award, funded by a generous endowment from the Andreas family, was created to recognize graduate students who are incorporating aspects of performance in their graduate program.
If you are seeking additional resources to help you fund your graduate work, please contact the campus financial aid office. In addition, various scholarship and funding opportunities are also available for students.
