Hello Mr. Alexander, My name is Katelyn and I'm a Graduate student at NYU, studying to be a Speech Pathologist. I have always taken a special interest in stuttering because I grew up with a few people who did stutter. I really enjoyed you article and I admire you very much. You seem to be an extraordianry person who will never be forgotten for your huge heart. I was curious about something while reading through your piece. Obviously you have created a safe, and loving environment for these kids and have given them a chance to be accepted for who they really are. Do you find that once they're out on their own in the "real world" they are more confident in themselves, or do they display their confidence more so when they're involved in 'Our Time?' In other words, being around other people who stutter and people that are so accepting of it is alot easier than having to face impatient and unkind people. Do you feel like this environment better prepares the kids to go out into the "real world" or is it there to replenish their confidence when they need it most? I appoligize if my question is not very clear, if I can clarify it for you, please let me know. Most importantly, thank you for all that you do and have done, the world needs more people like you in it. Best, Katelyn Deahl
