Alan: I live by the philosophy of taking risks and embracing change. As an adult I learned to play tennis, ice-skate, swim, travel abroad and speak English. Each of these has opened a wide world of adventure and opportunities for me. If speech therapists are to help their clients to embrace change and take risks, they should lead by example and step out of their own comfort zone. I'm from Mexico and live in the US.
