Hi Walt, It's always a pleasure to hear from you. I totally agree that the challenges need not necessarily relate to the client's speech. It's a question of changing one's self image and attaining personal growth . I also recognise the value of clinicians modelling this challenging behaviour. I love the following quote by Eleanor Roosevelt - "You gain strength , courage and confidence by every experience in which you stop to look fear in the face. ... you must do the things you think you cannot so".
