I whole-heartedly agree with the concept of expanding ourselves and facillitating personal growth by stepping outside of our self-imposed comfort zones. I haven't been around on this earth very long(only 22 years):), but after reflecting on my past and memorable instances of personal growth, I can honestly attribute the majority of those changes to the result of stepping outside my own comfort zones. I agree that this could be a wonderful and effective tool when used appropriately in therapy. How would you suggest introducing this idea to a client? What would be some examples of how to begin in small ways? Thank you for taking the time to write this insightful article.
