I am a student in speech pathology from the United States. I found your article very interesting and liked how it gave another culutral perspective on stuttering. My family is from Cyprus and I found it interesting how people looked upon stuttering. I know in my country they look upon it in the same way. How did you deal with stuttering when growing up in Cameroon? I know you said that there are not many speech specialists in your country, but is there more awareness nowadays? Are more people becoming speech specialists now? Thank you for your insight.
