Hi Jonas, Thank you for sharing your personal experiences with stuttering and bullying in Cameroon. Just the same as stuttering is a universal issue, I believe that your tips for teachers when relating to a child who stutters and addressing bullying are universal as well. The child needs to feel as though school is a safe and accepting place for him. Depending on how he responds to bullying, it may only intensify his fears of stuttering and lower his self-esteem. I also like how you mention that if a child is not bothered by his stuttering, drawing attention to it might instill negative feelings. I was also wondering, what do you specifically do to educate others in your community about stuttering and its existence in all cultures and countries?
