I was wondering if teaching education involves any training related to speech pathologies and what you are doing when you face a case that is beyond your abilities to help? Do you refer the child to a say psychologist? Are there any attempts at creating a SLP field? Good luck in your endovour! Evra I am overwhelmed my your comments Evra. Teacher training education does not involve any speech pathology trainging. We are fighting to let the government include stuttering and other communication disorders in the state context. We are running support groups in schools where members share their experiences and learn how to overcome their fear of stuttering. We need to create SLP fields to facilitate learning. I need ideas on how to start an effective one. Thank you Evra Regards Jonas
