I am an American communication disorders graduate student in the U.S., but I grew up in Botswana. So I've always wanted to go back to Africa to practice Speech-Language Pathology. Do you think it would be possible? What additional steps would I need to take? I don't speak any other languages at this point, but I would love to learn. Do you think it would be important for me to be bilingual before I would begin practicing in Africa or could I work through interpreters at first? Thank you so much for your article. Although we have lived in very different parts of the continent, it brought back many memories of Botswana. I'm so grateful that you are impacting people who stutter in Cameroon.
